A remarkably tall (6'6) man with fair skin, a slender build, and honey brown eyes. His hair is white and worn in a short, layered style that sticks up in the back. Characters from Earth-like settings would register him as being of East Asian and Southeast Asian descent.
Demeanor
Typically, Ozpin is calm, steady, affable, and slow to anger. He's quick to amusement and often gives the impression that he's somewhat above everything happening around him. He's all or nothing when it comes to speaking; he's either content to stand off to the side, observing without saying anything, or he won't shut up. He has a strong mischievous streak and is easily amused by his own antics. He always carries a cane despite rarely seeming to need it. When he does it's to compensate for a limp on his right side, which ranges from 'barely noticeable' to 'so severe even standing is a challenge'.
Fashion
Ozpin is most often seen wearing multiple layers of formal clothing. It's rare to see him with any skin uncovered except for his face and hands; if his shirt doesn't have a high collar, he'll likely be wearing a scarf instead. He strongly favors the color green, particularly dark shades, and it will always be present as either a dominant color or a major accent color in whatever ensemble he's wearing.

Ozpin speaks with a smooth cadence in a medium low register. He has a formal way of speaking, somewhat elaborate vocabulary, and a transatlantic accent; example.

Identity Horror / Loss of Autonomy: Ozpin is an immortal with an unusual form of reincarnation. Every time he dies, his mind jumps into the body of a 'like-minded soul' (usually a young man between the ages of 14 and 30). Oz and his new host then slowly merge, sharing memories and personality traits until the two of them have combined into a single person. This process has already been completed between the previous host and Ozpin, and is now in the process of happening between Ozpin and his successor, Oscar.
Child Soldiers: Ozpin runs a school for training children to be monster hunters, and in a previous life he founded the entire monster hunting school system. It's implied that students start schooling at around 14 or 15. Participation in this system is entirely voluntary, but it dangerous and at least one student is known to have died on a training mission (though it's treated as though this is a rare incident). As a result, Ozpin has a rather cavalier attitude towards children being in dangerous situations.
Cults: Ozpin has been the founder and leader of at least two different cults/religions over two different reincarnations. It's implied that he was a reluctant leader in one case, and a benevolent leader in both, but he did still lead a cult and people did still die for him.
War Crimes: In a previous life, Ozpin was both a king and a military leader. At the end of a World War-esque conflict, Oz used a magic weapon of mass destruction to personally destroy huge swathes of an enemy army; the battle where he did this ended up being the deadliest conflict in the entire war. He was so effective that most people (not being aware of the weapon's existence) agree that the extremely high death toll was largely due to a natural disaster that coincided with the battle.
Domestic Violence: While Ozpin would not describe himself as a victim of domestic violence, it's very easy to read him as such. He has an extremely contentious and violent relationship with his ex-wife, Salem. Their relationship ended when he grew fearful of her ambitions and attempted to leave with their four children. Salem caught him in the act, and the resulting fight raged so out of control that Oz and all four children were killed. Since then, Salem has killed and tortured Oz on multiple occasions; hunted down and murdered his friends and family; spent hundreds of years systematically eradicating his descendants; stated a desire to see all the things he loves burn; and verbally tormented him with his inability to stop her.
